As reported in the Daily Mail, the son of the dying Queen, Prince Charles, accompanied by his wife Camilla, boarded the helicopter.
Princess Anna, the Queen’s daughter, was at Balmoral at the time.
According to the website, Charles and Anna were the only family members who had managed to say goodbye to Elizabeth II before her death and were by her side when she died.
