Maria Woroncowa-Faasen is the eldest daughter of Vladimir Putin. The 36-year-old graduated from prestigious studies and became a doctor and expert in children’s genetic diseases. The media know little about the child of the Russian leader and try not to describe or involve her in politics. However, the Medusa portal has described her views which seem to coincide with those of her father.

In response to a post by one of the users of the chat of graduates of Moscow State University, she wrote: “Nobody in the West wants our country to develop. Everything has always been done to prevent it. And they will do it in the future. And if they do (.. .) Russia will become a full-fledged raw material addition to the US and the EU. I’ll see who you blame for not living in a flourishing economy”. In another post, she stated that there had been a “leak” of talented people out of Russia caused by George Soros.

The daughter of the Russian leader also repeats the Kremlin’s narrative about the alleged biological weapons on Ukrainian territory and that it was “the will of the people” to join Russia. She also criticizes the word “annexation”. She added that “NATO would never have left Crimea without a military base if it had been there.”
