Horror in Bingham, Nottinghamshire. A rat broke into the bedroom of a sick and paralyzed 76-year-old woman and began to eat her alive.
The woman’s husband, a retired soldier, said he had never seen such an injury, even while serving in the army.
Diana Kirk, 76, has dementia and Parkinson’s disease. A fall down the stairs had damaged her nerves. Since then, the woman has felt no pain. The victim’s husband says that this is the only consolation in this situation – the woman did not suffer.
The elderly woman’s injuries are severe. She was treated at the hospital. She was given strong antibiotics.
It turns out that the rat was hiding in the cupboard where the seeds were kept. The rodent was shot with a pellet gun the day after the incident.
