Queen Elizabeth II left a letter during one of her trips to Australia. It was placed in a time capsule. It will be open only after 2085.
The letter was placed in 1986, while the Queen was attending the opening ceremony of the restored Queen Victoria Building in Sydney.
“On the date you choose in 2085, please open this envelope and deliver my message to the people of Sydney”, the Queen wrote to the mayor.
The text contained in it is not known even to the most strict staff of the Queen.
