The representatives of the six countries will not be present at the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II. One visitor is a surprise

The representatives of Russia, Belarus and Myanmar (formerly Burma) were not invited to the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II. These three countries have now been joined by three more. Surprisingly, a representative of North Korea may attend the ceremony.

Russia and Belarus were not invited due to their participation in the war in Ukraine. Myanmar (formerly Burma) supports Russia’s actions and there was a coup there.

Three more have joined these countries. No one from Afghanistan was invited because of the political situation, and Syria and Venezuela because the United Kingdom did not maintain diplomatic contacts with these countries.

Representatives of North Korea and Iran may attend the funeral ceremonies.
