The British pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II in an unusual way!

The reign of Elizabeth II will go down in history. Many British people love their queen and on the news of her death, they decided to pay an extraordinary tribute to the monarch.

Yarnbombing is a field of art that involves covering elements of external space (most often urban architecture, but also trees, stones, etc.) with hand-made knitted fabrics.

Seen as a kind of graffiti or street art, yarnbombing does not yet have an established Polish name, but sometimes the term “yarn bombardment” or “graffiti knitting” appears. In English, terms such as yarnbombing / yarn bombing, yarn storming (to mitigate the negative connotations of the word bombing) are also used interchangeably, as well as guerrilla knitting, kniffiti, urban knitting or graffiti knitting.
