The German Aldi store has become the fourth largest store in the UK. The British choose cheaper products and get ready for winter.
Inflation is not the only British concern. The cost of living is also increasing – electricity, heating, and for some also the cost of renting a flat or a house.
According to Bloomberg, the Aldi chain is approaching a 10% market share, ahead of, among others, Morrison Supermarkets.
Tesco, Sainbury and Asda are still in the lead.
