The 6-year-old boy is dead after he went on vacation to Egypt with his parents. Andrea felt unwell last Friday – he had a fever, vomiting and a stomach ache.
His mother is now four months pregnant. The woman thought it might be symptoms of heat stroke. However, she and her husband soon felt bad themselves.
The parents and the child went to a local clinic, where they were diagnosed with food poisoning. The boy got drips and pills.
“My nephew was in a very serious condition. We found out that despite the hour of resuscitation, there was nothing they could do,” Roberto’s uncle told La Stampa.
The father of the deceased 6-year-old still remains in the hospital. “My brother-in-law has kidney and heart problems, low saturation, he cannot get up. We want to take everyone home, somebody help us” – adds Mr. Roberto.
