Spring surprised the British. The temperatures are higher than in other parts of Europe and are on a par with those in Rome, Ibiza and Morocco. It will be so warm until Sunday.
On Wednesday it will be warmest in London, as high as 20 degrees Celsius. There will be little less in Manchester (18), Birmingham, Glasgow (18), Edinburgh (17). The coldest, but also warm, will be in Wales and Northern Ireland, where it will be 16 degrees in most cities.
It will be so warm until Sunday. Cooling down will come from Monday, with the biggest drop in temperatures on Tuesday. Weather forecasters predict rainfall and the temperature will drop to around 10 degrees Celsius.
