A Moscow court recognized the company Meta Platforms INC. for “extremist medium”. The activities of this company’s websites will not be possible in Russia.
The company manages sites such as Facebook and Instagram.
Earlier, the services were blocked by the decision of Roskomnadzor, which is responsible for the media and the Internet in Russia. The office argued that the websites discriminated against Russian media. Facebook has imposed restrictions on RIA Nowosti and the Gazeta.ru portal.
