Murder in Southall. Second man convicted

27-years old Augustus Fenton, was stabbed in Featherstone Road, Southall on 28 March 2017. He was taken to hospital but died the next day. A second man has been convicted for his role in this crime.

Augustus was attacked twice on the afternoon of 28 March 2017, initially in King Street, Southall and minutes later by a group of five males in Featherstone Road. Augustus was fatally stabbed during this second attack – said DCI Katherine Goodwin, Specialist Crime.

Two man involved in this crime was arrested. Ilyaas Maalin, 23 was arrested in Holland and extradited to the UK on 11 March 2021. Now, he has convicted to ten years and nine months for the manslaughter and two years and three months for violent disorder. Mohamed Abdillahi for the same crime will spend total of 18 years in prison.

Following today’s conviction, we can name three men we wish to speak with, all of whomwere born in Somalia and are thought to have left the UK. They are:

  • Mohamed Abdulhi Abdi, (born 2/10/1994),
  • Mohamed Abdi Mohammed, (born 26/12/1998, and
  • Mohammed Mohammed, (born 1/10/1998)
