Great Britain will deploy Sky Saber air defense system in Poland. – We will send 100 soldiers to guarantee the security of the Polish air zone – said British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace.
A meeting between the Ministers of Defense of Poland and Great Britain was held on Thursday in Warsaw.
– It was a very right decision that we started such close cooperation with one of our oldest allies, Poland. Great Britain supports Poland and it will continue to do so, because Poland bears the greatest burden resulting from the effects of this war on its shoulders. Poland is doing very well and it is really doing it in a very courageous way – said Ben Wallace.
– I would like to announce that we will deploy the Sky Saber mid-range system in Poland. In addition, we will send 100 soldiers to support Poland and, above all, to guarantee the security of the Polish air zone – he declared. He explained that it is a system capable of hitting a target the size of a tennis ball at the speed of sound.
Mariusz Blaszczak, the Polish Minister of Defense, thanked for the visit and support, as well as for the close contacts between Poland and Great Britain. – Thanks to these contacts, our relations are very close, thanks to these contacts Poland and NATO are safe – said the head of the Polish ministry.
